Initial Stages
Having decided what your dream hideaway might be and the rough budget you have in mind, then please give us a phone call. Don’t worry if the details seem a little vague or even wacky, we will be happy to hear all your thoughts and ideas. Some of our greatest work has come from the most obscure concepts.
Once we have discussed what you are looking for, we will send one of our surveyors to see you who will show you our extensive portfolio, explain all the possibilities and measure up the site. There is normally a charge for this service.
Design
From the meeting and survey, we will produce a CAD drawing and full quotation (normally within a week) and send it to you via email. It’s not set in stone, you can chop and change the design as much as you like – we thoroughly recommend that you talk to your neighbours about your plans at this stage. If you like the proposal and want to proceed we ask for a 40% deposit. We will then provide you with a start date.
Our Workshop
We have a fantastic workshop where we try to build as much of our work as possible. Roughly half of the project will be built here – the rest will take place on site. This minimises the impact we have on the location, and ensures bad weather does not slow us down too much. It also ensures we achieve the very high standards that we set for ourselves on each and every project.
The time it takes to start and finish a project very much depends on the individual design, but on average our work takes 4 weeks to complete.
The Build
A stage payment of 40% is required once the team arrive on site and the balance is due on completion. The team is hardworking, polite and thoughtful. We offer a fantastic guarantee on all of our work and materials, and we have full product and public liability insurance.
We only use the best quality materials in our structures. We ensure that they are designed and installed to withstand all the seasons and will be safe, attractive features for our clients for years to come.
